I was running Quicken essentials 2007 so it is no longer supported anyway I choose to download Banktivity from apple store before I upgraded to sierra.

I was able to transfer all my Quicken essentials accounts files to Banktivity very easily before I update to sierra.After updating to sierra,my Quicken essentials had a line through the app but my Banktivity app works great,and even if you dont connect it your banks;you can still use it like a register that will sync to Banktivity own cloud.and use it on several devices I have it on two iMacs and a iPhone which all syncs to each other with Banktivity cloud.You are not using apple cloud.
